Medical Business Associates:
Medical Business Associates was founded in 1985 by Ron & Lynne Meyer to provide medical insurance claims management services to individuals, physicians, bank trust departments and attorneys. Ron resigned a senior management position to pursue the strategic development of Medical Business Associates in 1986. He brought extensive experience in computer system design, computer programming, project management, and personnel management.
By the end of 1986, the company had acquired 120 individual clients, five bank trust departments and several attorneys. The response was clearly successful.
In 1987, MBA acquired two physician clients and has been in this market ever since. While the service of individuals remained a vital portion of our business for many years, the ever-evolving health insurance market eventually made this service obsolete. In 2005, MBA made the decision to focus completely on our physician customer base.
In response to our clients’ growing demands, we now offer our expertise through expanded services that include comprehensive revenue cycle management services, EHR integration, and credentialing services.
